1. Request deletion
This page is for the GymBhai member app (Google Play package com.strawhats.gymmembers) and the GymBhai web app at gymbhai.com.
2. What happens next
- You get a reference number on screen straight away, and by email if we hold an email address for you.
- We verify that the request came from the owner of that phone number or email — we may write back once to confirm.
- We erase the data listed below and confirm by email.
- The whole thing is done within 30 days of the request.
3. What gets deleted, and what does not

| Wearable and health activity | Everything GymBhai read from Health Connect or Apple Health — steps, active calories, resting heart rate, distance and sleep. |
| Streaks, XP, levels and badges | Your whole gamification record. |
| Community activity | Your posts, comments and reactions in your gym's feed. |
| Notifications | Push tokens, device registrations and your notification history. |
| Plans | Diet and training plans written for you. |
Two things survive, and Google Play requires us to say so plainly:

| Payment and invoice records | Your gym must keep books of account under Indian tax law — up to 8 years from the transaction. These are kept as financial records only; they are not used to profile or contact you. |
| Minimal security logs | Sign-in and abuse-prevention logs, up to 12 months, for fraud prevention and incident investigation. Anonymised where the law allows. |
4. Before you request deletion
- Your membership does not cancel itself. Deleting your GymBhai account removes your app access; it does not end the membership contract you signed with your gym or stop fees due under it. Cancel with your gym directly first.
- Settle any dues. If money is outstanding, your gym will still pursue it — the financial record is one of the things we must keep.
- You lose your history. Streaks, badges, progress charts and logged workouts cannot be restored afterwards, even if you rejoin the same gym.
- Rejoining means a new account. Your gym would register you again from scratch.
5. Deleting from inside the app
If you still have GymBhai installed, you can also start this from Profile → Delete my account. Both routes reach the same place — this form exists because Google Play requires a way that works without the app.
6. Prefer to email us?
Write to admin@gymbhai.com from the email address your gym has on file, or from any address quoting the phone number on your membership. Say whether you want the whole account deleted or just your app activity. We reply within 30 days.
